NMC Camp Lejeune Professional Education, Director (DPE) – 1 JUL 2024
NMCCL, Professional Education Director – Director NMCCL requests qualified candidates for the NMCCL Professional Education Director position. Candidates must have sufficient post-graduate experience and documented academic achievement with a working knowledge of ACGME requirements. Candidates will have a track record of broad superior performance in both clinical and educational leadership positions. Candidates must hold a current medical license and board certification in any specialty. The desired report date is NLT than July 2024.
Ideal candidate is a senior Navy Medical Corps active-duty physician (rank O-5 or above recommended), with leadership skills and a passion for professional education. DPE is a full-time position, but it is encouraged to maintain clinical skills on a part-time basis (incumbent is 0.2 FTE clinical). Interviews will be in November. Call for Nominations – Life Support Scientific Advisory Council
We have a very short suspense to fill two vacancies, the BLS and ALS representatives, on the DHA Life Support Scientific Advisory Council (LSSAC). This Council is a conduit for Services to bring life support training issues to the DHA via direct communication with the Military Training Network.
This is a Surgeon General appointed position/collateral duty for at least two years. Preferred experience includes being a prior BLS or ALS Program Director with a well-rounded knowledge of life support and American Red Cross training requirements as an instructor.
Candidates should submit a letter of intent, CV, and BIO to Captain Shauna O’Sullivan NLT 1600 EST 28 SEP 2023. This is a collateral duty and does not require PCS.
