Posted on Updated on

BLUF – Rear Adm. Reginald Ewing III assumed command of Naval Medical Forces Pacific from Rear Adm. Kevin Brown on September 25, with Brown moving on to become the next Navy Surgeon General and Ewing taking responsibility for more than 14,600 personnel across the Pacific medical enterprise. The transition reinforces Navy Medicine’s focus on expeditionary medical readiness, combat casualty care and clinical proficiency across 10 Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Commands, eight research laboratories and the Defense Health Network Pacific Rim.
