American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) 10×10 course from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) – Applications Due 3/31
Background: The AMIA-OHSU 10×10 course is a renowned online program that provides a comprehensive overview of biomedical informatics, including the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, electronic health records (EHRs), machine learning, and data science. This training is designed to equip our workforce with the skills necessary to lead and innovate within the Military Health System.
Course Details:
· What: AMIA-OHSU 10×10: Introduction to Biomedical Informatics and Artificial Intelligence
· Who: Open to all Navy personnel in MC, NC, DC, & MSC. Ideal candidates are those in roles related to health informatics, data analysis, or clinical IT systems.
· When: The course runs from July 2, 2026, to November 4, 2026.
· Where: The course is delivered entirely online in a flexible, asynchronous format.
· Why: This BUMED-funded program aims to enhance the Navy’s capabilities in healthcare delivery and data management. Graduates will be equipped to drive innovation and improve patient outcomes.
