or do you have discretion over how you push forward information? It looks like you are just tagging an article and the headline follows from the original author….. I know your blog is separate from your uniformed officer presence and has the disclaimer to cover that distinction. I just wonder about the recent use of DOW that has been coming through in your posts.DOW, as I understand it through constitutional law, is incorrect. Executive order from President Trump can direct the use of DOW through department channels, which your consistently helpful and informative blog is not. I think it then becomes a personal choice to use DOW vs the not-yet-approved-to-be-changed from DOD designation. Again, it appears your are simply tagging articles that use what they use. Because I respect you, and your wealth of useful information that you put out, I hope that the use of DOW is not generated from within your blog but simply from the inappropriate use of the term from a non-government entity co-opting the term. Politics are challenging these days. Just looking for clarification on where this messaging comes from. V/r,Chris
I’m just trying to put out info and stay out of trouble. I figure cutting/pasting the info without making editorial changes is the safest route to do this, so if they use “DOW” I just leave it that way. I’m making no changes and just use the original content.
