Executive Director, Defense Health Board, DHA – O6
The Director, Defense Health Agency (DHA) requests Service nominations to fill the O-6 level position of Executive Director, Defense Health Board (DHB), Defense Health Agency. The Executive Director organizes, facilitates, and directs the activities of over 50 special government employee health care subject matter experts to provide independent advice of the Secretary of Defense, the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, and Director, Defense Health Agency, to maximize the health, safety, and effectiveness of the United States Armed Forces.
The candidate must have a doctorate of medicine with a Master’s degree (or higher) in Public Health, or health discipline requiring a thesis/dissertation, or a doctorate of philosophy in health discipline. The assignment is 36 months, and the desired report date is August 2023, with early reporting authorized.
