BUMED recently put out BUMED INSTRUCTION 6000.17 – Global Health Specialist Program.  It explains the Global Health Specialist Program, details which billets/jobs are in the program, and how to get the new AQD.

    This is awesome but I’m not sure what education and courses are required…

    what is meant by “(2) Education and Training: Obtained the identified global health competencies via degree, short course, or certificate-based education and training. (Applicants must show education or training link to the identified competencies)”?

      Your guess is as good as mine. I’d inquire with the head of GHE, CAPT Carlos Williams, who is in the global address book.
