Adjustment Disorder Study

Posted on Updated on

BLUF: Recruiting military healthcare providers to participate in a one-time questionnaire as part of a CDMRP-funded study on Adjustment Disorders in the military.

Adjustment Disorders (ADs) are the most common mental health diagnosis in the military population and have a substantial impact on our troops’ readiness. However, there remains substantial variation in how troops with adjustment disorders are identified and diagnosed. Our research has developed a military-specific diagnostic tool (ADNM-20-Mil) for provider use with diagnosing ADs in service members.

As part of this study, we are asking health care providers to assess their intentions to use the ADNM-20-Mil as part of their tool kit for diagnosing ADs. As a military healthcare provider, your input on our questionnaire is an important part of this study. We hope you will consider participating.
