Navy works with 80 female sailors to evaluate future uniforms
BLUF – The Navy worked with 80 female sailors to evaluate prototype slacks, shirts and jumper tops, collecting measurements and feedback to improve its new numeric sizing system and address longstanding fit and comfort problems in women’s uniforms. For Navy Medicine, better-fitting uniforms can improve comfort, mobility and quality of life for female medical personnel across clinical and operational environments while demonstrating the value of incorporating sailors’ feedback into policies and equipment that affect their daily service.
