Trump Establishes Military Spouse Commission
BLUF – President Trump signed an executive order establishing the first President’s Military Spouse Commission, a White House advisory body charged with developing recommendations to improve the quality of life for military spouses by addressing challenges such as employment, healthcare, housing, education, childcare, and the frequent relocations associated with military service. For Navy Medicine, the commission could influence policies that affect military family healthcare access, spouse well-being, and retention of medical personnel by recognizing that supporting military families is an important component of maintaining a ready and resilient force.
