Unifying the Military Medical Pipeline – USU and HPSP Recruiting Collaboration
BLUF – The Uniformed Services University and the Health Professions Scholarship Program have launched the Military Medical Community initiative, creating a coordinated recruiting effort that gives prospective medical students a single, transparent entry point to learn about both pathways through shared virtual events, mentoring, and tri-service outreach. For Navy Medicine, the initiative strengthens the physician accession pipeline by improving recruitment efficiency, expanding outreach to high-quality candidates, and helping ensure a sustained supply of military physicians prepared to meet future operational and readiness requirements.
