ALCON,

On behalf of the Naval Medical Force Development Center (NMFDC), please see the attached September 2022 NMFDC Newsletter.

This month’s newsletter:

  • Features an NMFDC Pulse Check encouraging Navy Medicine stakeholders to share their feedback on the NKSA process and readiness visibility and assessment. Please provide the NMFDC with your feedback by 31 October 2022.
  • Presents the NMFDC “Graphic of the Month on the High Reliability Organization (HRO) principle of “Preoccupation with Failure.” This graphic is the first of a 5-part series highlighting the HRO principles.
  • Spotlights key takeaways from the recent NMFDC site visit to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) Fort Belvoir.
  • Shares an interview with CAPT Melissa Austin (Commanding Officer, NMRTC Fort Belvoir) on readiness reporting progress and challenges at NMRTC Fort Belvoir, policy, and organizational alignment.

Please feel free to share this newsletter with other relevant Navy Medicine stakeholders and those interested in the NMFDC’s efforts.

Very Respectfully,

The Naval Medical Force Development Center
