Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced today that the president has made the following nomination:

Navy Rear Adm. (lower half) Pamela C. Miller for appointment to the grade of rear admiral. Miller is currently serving as command surgeon, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.
