Earlier you had posted a draft of the bill that, if I remember correctly, contained a sizable increase in board certification pay. Do you know if this final version just voted into law contains that same increase?
I’m pretty sure that it does, but the question will be how long it takes for that pay increase to actually occur. I don’t believe it was in the FY21 budget, so I’m not sure what will happen.

(d) Incentive Pay.–Subparagraph (D) of such section is amended–
(1) in clause (i), by striking “$100,000” and inserting
“$200,000”; and
(2) in clause (ii), by striking “$15,000” and inserting
“$50,000”.
The short answer is that we will have to wait and see. The NDAA appears to have changed maximum pays but the services have the authority to pay “up to” maximums. They don’t have to pay maximums. Plus, special pay increases were not in the FY21 pay plan, which should be approved in the next few months. I’m not sure if it gets re-worked now or not. I’d guess not and that these new maximums would be considered in FY-22.
